Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  

I am very excited to return to the Sherrard School District as the Junior High Principal.  I started my educational career here many years ago. Relationships are so important in everything we do. I’m excited to renew “old” relationships and build “new” relationships with staff, students, parents, and stakeholders.

One of our goals will be to help prepare students for high school. To do that, we will challenge students to work hard, be involved, and take responsibility. As Vince Lombardi stated, “It’s not whether you get knocked down, but whether you get up.” We will all fail at some point. In failure, we will learn to get better, to try something different, or to try harder. 

As Principal, it is my goal to ensure that your student has a safe learning environment. We want our students to achieve success both in and out of the classroom. Together with your help, we will work to do our best to make that happen. 

I look forward to meeting all of you as we welcome back our students on August 5th.  Our school day begins at 7:40 and ends at 2:30.
