Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year.  I am excited to be your new activities director and look forward to joining the Sherrard School District Community. 

Any time we begin something new, there is excitement and nervousness, whether a new freshman or the new activities director.  You may notice down the road that my email signature includes a quote from Neale Donald Walsh “Life begins at the end of our comfort zone”  I feel participation in Jr/Sr high activities should bring students to the edge of their comfort zone and help them to grow life skills in leadership, communication, collaboration, and character development.  Learning to lead, collaborate and communicate when things are going well and when things are difficult builds the character necessary to create a strong foundation for life.  

As your Activities Director, I aim to provide a stable, safe, and exciting environment for students to learn, grow and push the edge of their comfort zone, whether on the field, court, or mat, at the concert, play, or theater performance.
