Sherrard Elementary Kindergarten student, Henry Dehnke has been selected by Artsonia as a finalist for "Artist of the Week" award for the PreK-3rd age group.
"I was really excited to get that email - I was thrilled for Henry, and for the school to be selected. I’m hoping he wins!" said Art teacher Tony Vermeer.
The finalist who receives the MOST online votes will be selected as their "Artist of the Week".
If Henry wins - the school will be awarded $100 for art supplies from Blick Art Materials and Henry would win $50 from Blick. The winner will also be featured on the Artsonia homepage and receive a commemorative plaque.
