The Illinois State Board of Education declared that the shutdown will be considered Act of God days, but they also declared the following: "It is expected that schools will provide instruction to students during these Act of God days through whatever means possible." Students need to stay engaged with learning to maintain their academic skills and they need structure and routine for emotional health.

Regarding e-learning, please have your children check-in often with their teachers and give feedback to the teachers about how the lessons are going. The junior high has posted a weekly assignment sheet on the junior high section of the district website.
